The Big Question
Before we go on, I’d like to say that if you’ve read some of my posts you’ll see I have repeated a couple of stories. A few weeks after I first recognized my restlessness, I was out with friends when I ran into a family friend and had a conversation for ten minutes, typical back and forth question and answers. Resisting each other’s questions but being cordial. Resistance loves keeping us busy with anything but the one thing that will most help us grow. I threw myself into my work with more energy than ever before, but the restlessness persisted. After a few weeks of this I stepped back to re-evaluate myself. I told myself to begin again one day at a time. The first thing every day, I’d make my bed, an accomplishment, then breakfast and cleaning the dishes. One step, one day at a time continue to do little things and they will grow more and more each day.
Our lives change when our habits change. New habits bring new life.
