The Stress-Busting Effect Of Exercise
74% of people suffer from stress.
Why is exercise one of the best antidotes to stress?
Well, I can tell you why I work out every day — and it’s not for having a better shape.
Here are the 6 reasons why exercise is my favorite anti-stress tool.
1. Sleep Quality
The more quality exercise we do, the better we sleep.
The better we sleep, the less likely we are to feel stressed during the day.
So, I exercise every day to improve my sleep, so I can reduce stress.
2. Endorphin Boost
Exercise gives us a boost of endorphins.
Meaning our mood is totally different after 20-30 minutes.
I work out after work. Which means I can face the rest of the day without thinking about work problems.
3. Better Posture
The better our posture, the less likely we are to feel stressed at work.
That’s why in my routine I include:
→ Exercises with TRX for shoulders and back
→ 5 minutes only for training the neck.
4. Less Fatigue
Many people think: “The more you train, the more you struggle and feel tired.”
Well, it’s the opposite: “The more you train, the less fatigue you feel in general.”
In short, exercise makes us more energized and resilient.
5. Cortisol Reduction
Cortisol is the stress hormone, right?
Well, regular exercise improves our metabolic health.
Which means it helps us regulate the secretion of cortisol.
Put simply, exercise keeps cortisol levels in check.
6. More Self-Esteem
Exercise challenges us.
As we know, the more challenges we win (and the more we celebrate them), the more our self-esteem increases.
That’s why I work out every day — to win challenges and cultivate self-discipline.
Simple as that.
Of course not everyone loves exercise.
But everyone who practices it can confirm these 6 benefits.
As we know, our body is our home. Taking care of it is the best investment for life.
