How To Detach Ourselves From Anxiety-OCD
It is so normal for people with OCD to feel frustrated and resentful towards OCD. However, this may show up in the way we respond to our thoughts and talk to ourselves.
Though it is frustrating, try to speak kindly to yourself. I like to think of OCD sometimes like a crying toddler. Sometimes the toddler needs validation and care; rigidity or anger may make their cries louder.
