Anxiety Vs. Calm

How to handle anxiety at work?

Here’s a quick fix:
→    The 4-4-8 Breathing Technique

It’s super simple.
It calms your mind in just a couple of minutes.
Let’s try it out.
(but find a comfy spot first)

1.    Breathe in for 4 seconds

Inhale deeply through your nose.
Count to 4 slowly as you fill your lungs.

2.    Hold your breath for 4 seconds

Keep the air in your lungs.
Hold it gently as you count to 4.

3.    Breathe out slowly for 8 seconds

Exhale through your mouth.
Let it all go as you count to 8.

Great job! Now, just repeat it 3-4 times.

But why does it work?
It works because it slows your breathing and relaxes your body.

It sends a message to your brain:
→    “Hey, it’s okay to calm down.”
And by focusing on the count, you shift your attention away from anxious thoughts.
It’s like hitting a reset button.

And when should you use it?

Try it whenever anxiety creeps in, like:
→    Before a big meeting
→    When your mind won’t stop racing
→    Or anytime stress feels overwhelming
I know it seems basic, but it really works.
It brings calm and clarity back into your day.
Try it and see for yourself!

And let’s remember:
→    Perfection isn’t the goal — progress is!
