Perspective Matters
One lesson I’ve learned from working as a Personal Trainer is this:
“You can spend a couple of hours per week with a person, but you can’t truly understand what they’re experiencing in their entire life.”
Sometimes we look at a colleague, a partner, a client, a friend, or a stranger, and we demand to know what they’re experiencing.
But what we see is only 1% of what that person is really carrying.
So next time, when we find ourselves judging others for their behavior, let’s stop for a moment and reflect.
99% of the time, what we see is not the reality—what we see is simply OUR reality.
