Live In The Present

Another weekend is here. Now the question is:
Why do some of us struggle to fully enjoy the weekend?

Uhm, that’s a good question, right?

Many people look forward to the weekend.
→    “This weekend I’m gonna do…”

Okay, now Friday is here, and everything seems perfect—an exciting weekend lies ahead.

But tomorrow something could happen.
→    “Monday I have to…”
→    “Oh, Tuesday I need to…”
→    “Wednesday will be…”
→    “Gosh, Thursday I must…”

Now, let’s try to reflect:

When do we learn from the past?
In the present, right?

And when do we set the future?
Uhm, I would say in the present. Agree?

And when do we feel happy?
Uhm, in the present, of course!

So this weekend live in the present. Do something you really love!
→    Meditate!
→    Practice yoga!
→    Prepare a healthy recipe with your partner!
→    Spend time with your children!
→    Hug your parents!
→    Chat with your friends about your past!
→    Go to the gym!
→    Adopt a dog!
→    Flip through that magazine you really love!
→    Start that book that could give you a new perspective!
→    Write down a letter to yourself!
→    Reflect!
→    Stay in silence!
→    Make noise!
→    Do something!


Don’t wait another weekend to do what you love.
Live your weekend.
Live in the present.

Remember, next week will come anyway.
