Cycle Of Growth
How do I make sure I don’t stunt my growth?
This is a simple method I’ve started using in the last few years:
“When a piece of growth is achieved, I simply start to question my learnings.”
The framework I use is this:
1. Growth
2. Unlearn
3. Restart
4. Relearn
Now I just want to give you an example based on my content here on LinkedIn.
Not because I want to talk about myself, but because I love to preach what I practice.
PS. You can use this framework in all areas of your life:
→ Work
→ Health
→ Spirituality
→ Relationships
→ …
So, let’s see all four points.
1. Growth
About 30 days ago, I started creating these InfoArts (visuals).
A few days ago, I felt that “a piece of growth” was achieved.
Your feedback was good.
→ “My tree was rich in leaves”
2. Unlearn
To avoid the risk of stalling my growth in terms of content quality, I started unlearning what I learned in the last 30 days (thanks to your feedback).
I started to question everything: habits, beliefs, thoughts.
→ “I started to lose my leaves”
3. Restart
On 23 December, I completed my unlearning, and I restarted from scratch.
I started to think in a different way.
→ “My tree was completely without leaves”
4. Relearn
On December 24, I started to relearn and laid the groundwork for my next content, which you’ll see in the next few days.
→ “My tree started to sprout new leaves”
Simple as that.
This is the framework I use in all areas of my life to continually grow.
Put simply, I don’t want to be satisfied with the growth I had.
I’m content, but I’m not satisfied—I don’t know how to explain it in a different way.
