24 Stress Effects On The Body

How can you reduce stress?

Here’s a simple tool for you:
→    The Walk-and-Talk

“Come on, really?”
Yep, really!

I use it every single day for:
→    Stress relief
→    Self-awarenesses
→    Business strategies
Let me show you how it works.

1.    First off, I put on my headphones.
This way people think I’m on a call.

2.    I leave home and start walking.
If I can, I immediately head to a place with a little bit of nature.
Like a park, for example.

3.   Now I start talking to myself as if I were on a call with a friend.

I tend to use “we”, so for example I can say:
→    “Okay, let’s reflect on…”
→    “Okay, for me, what we have to do is this…”
→    “Okay, how can we…?”

The framework I use is based on three steps (AAA):
1.    Analysis
2.    Awareness
3.    Actions
Let’s see these 3 steps.

1.    Analysis
I start analyzing the past.
“The past” could mean “last year” as well as “10 minutes ago”.
It depends on what I’m reflecting on.

2.    Awareness
After the analysis, I want to be aware of:
→    My current situation (present)
→    What I want to achieve based on the analysis (future)

3.    Actions
Now that I’m aware of my present and future I simply do this:
→    I set the future actions to achieve what I want to achieve.

Let’s see an example.
Imagine you’re stressed.
What you can do is this:

1.    Put on your headphones

2.    Start walking

3.    Reflect out loud by using the AAA Framework.

For example:

1.    Analysis:
→    You reflect on what past events made you stressed.

2.    Awareness
→    You become aware of yourself in the present.
→    You decide what you want to achieve in the future.
“Future” could mean “10 minutes later” as well as “1 month later”

3.    Actions
→    You set the actions to achieve what you want to achieve.
