You shall close the door to evil

When we harbor bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness, we are in effect inviting the devil to become involved in our lives. Families and countries have been split apart by unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment and hatred. I firmly believe this can open people up to demonic activity. I have seen this and experienced this many times: spirits of unforgiveness, spirits of resentment, spirits of bitterness, spirits of hate. Ruth Carter Stapleton says the whole ministry of inner healing is a question of opening oneself up to accepting forgiveness and giving forgiveness. I agree that as we seek and give forgiveness we shall close the door to evil.
