Let’s dive into the 4 S’s of Stress Management.
They’re gonna help us handle stressful moments at work.

1.    S — Stop

When you’re stressed, first, hit pause.
Stop what you’re doing — seriously.
Take a moment just to pause.
If you’re in the middle of a stressful task, step back.
If you’re stuck in a never-ending email chain, step back.
And take a few deep breaths.
Why?

Because this quick reset will help you:
→    Slow down
→    And break the cycle of stress before it builds up

2.    S — See

Now, ask yourself:
→    What’s actually stressing me out?

Is it the pile of work?
The looming deadline?
Or maybe just the feeling that there’s too much on your plate?
Take a moment to see the source of your stress clearly.
Sometimes, just identifying it can make it feel a lot less overwhelming.

3.    S — Sooth

We need to take care of ourselves, right?
Great! So now it’s time to soothe yourself.
What do I mean by that?
I mean, do something that helps you feel calm and grounded.

It could be:
→    Deep breathing
→    Sipping some water
→    Listening to your favorite song

These little actions help lower your stress and boost your mental energy.

4.    S — Shift

Alright, now we’re feeling a bit calmer, right?
So now it’s time to shift our focus.

Instead of thinking about everything that’s stressing you out, try this:
→    Think of one small thing you can do right now to feel a little better

Yep, right now!

It could be something like:
→    Taking a 5-minute walk
→    Doing 5 minutes of stretching
→    Or just organizing your workspace

Small actions can make a huge difference.
They give us back that sense of control we thought we’d lost.
