How to deal with burnout at work?

Let’s see how to give it a try.

1.    First off, sit somewhere comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in through your nose.
Hold for a second.
And breathe out slowly through your mouth.
Just to calm your mind.

2.    Alright, now we’re ready for the exercise.
Imagine that tonight, while you sleep, a miracle happens.
When you wake up tomorrow, everything is just how you want it.

Ask yourself these 6 miracle questions:

1.    What will be different?

For example:
→    I won’t feel tired all the time
→    I’ll feel more motivated to tackle my tasks
→    I’ll have energy to enjoy my evening instead of just zoning out

2.    What will you notice first?

For example:
→    I won’t feel so heavy inside
→    I’ll notice that I’m smiling more
→    Little things will make me happy again

3.    How will your life look, feel, and be different?

For example:
→    My life will feel lighter
→    I’ll wake up excited for the day
→    I’ll have time for my hobbies again

4.    What would you do differently if this miracle occurred?

For example:
→    I’d take breaks during work
→    I’d go for a walk outside more often
→    I’d spend more time with my friends and family

5.    How would you feel about these changes?

For example:
→    I’d be more relaxed
→    I’d be happier overall
→    I’d feel proud of myself for taking care of my wellbeing

6.    Who would notice the difference in you?

For example:
→    My friends and family would notice right away
→    They’d see me being more present when we hang out
→    They’d see me smiling more
