The Pyramid of Self-Love

How to love yourself?

I’m getting a lot of questions like yours in my DMs.
And I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about it.

Here’s what I think:
→    People lack self-love

Honestly, I think self-love is the real reason why I’m happy.
So, let’s see how to use the Pyramid of Self-love.

1.    Self-Acceptance
This is the foundation.
We can’t build self-love without first accepting who we are.

So, what can you do here?
→    Love yourself as you are
→    Celebrate and leverage your strengths
→    Accept your flaws like a close friend would

2.    Self-Care
Once we accept ourselves, we’re more likely to take care of ourselves.
Are you with me?
Great!

So, here’s what you can do:
→    Make time for things that take care of your body and mind

For example:
→    Exercising
→    Sleeping well
→    Eating healthy
→    Enjoying a hobby
→    Spending time in nature

Nature is magical — don’t forget it.

3.    Self-Compassion
With a good self-care routine, we can be kinder to ourselves.
Especially during tough times.

So, what can you do here?
→    Just be gentle with yourself when things go wrong

We just need to treat ourselves with kindness.
The same kindness we’d show to someone we care about.

4.    Self-Respect
Respect is my core value.

So you can imagine how much I value it.

Now the question is:
→    Why is it in the 4th layer?

Because when we’re compassionate, we start to recognize our value.
We also start to set (and respect) our boundaries.

So, what can you do here?
→    Just set your boundaries — and respect them!

This way, you can protect your energy and wellbeing.
Remember, your needs and feelings matter.

5.    Self-Actualization
With strong self-respect, we can now pursue our goals.

And we can also reach our full potential.
That’s why self-actualization is the last layer.
                                                                                                                                          So, what can you do here?
→    Just take small steps toward your goals

Now you’re in the best position to succeed!
Self-actualization needs:
→    Self-Acceptance
→    Self-Care
→    Self-Compassion
→    And Self Respect
And now you’ve got all of them!

This is how we can use the magical Pyramid of Self-love.
 And start feeling good enough!
