The Power of Walking

Why do I walk 30 minutes a day?
My life is full of habits and routines

But I wanna share something I haven’t talked much about:
→    Daily walking

I spend almost 30 minutes a day walking.

Many times:
→    in nature
→    and talking to myself out loud (people think I’m on a call).

Here are 4 reasons why I do that.

1.     Walking clears my mind.
Walking gets me away from screens.
It gives my brain a break.
This mental pause helps me think more clearly.
Plus, a huge part of my creativity comes up in those moments.

2.    Walking makes me more aware.
Since I talk to myself while walking, I get more in touch with myself.
In touch with my feelings.
In touch with my thoughts.
In touch with what’s happening in my life.
It’s like therapy for me.

3.    Walking boosts my energy.
Lots of people think walking will just wear them out.
Actually, walking helps increase our energy levels.
It helps reduce fatigue.
A daily walk helps release endorphins.
This makes us feel happier and less stressed.

4.    Walking helps me with sleep.
I’ve never really had trouble sleeping.
But I’ve always been into exercising and walking.
I put a lot of effort into improving my sleep.
For me, sleep is key to peak performance.
The better I sleep, the more refreshed and alert I am during the day.

Now the question is:
→ What if I can’t get outside?

Well, I just walk slowly around the house.
