1. Create a Task Mind Map:
• Break tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
• Prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency.
• Delegate tasks when possible, to lighten your workload.
2. Master your Time:
• Set clear goals and deadlines for each task.
• Spend a day learning time-management techniques and test them out.
• Identify your “time vampires” like social media and Netflix, and reduce access to them (set clear time limits, remove access, hide app icons from view).
3. People:
• Learn to say “no” if it’s not a “hell yes!”
• Set boundaries with energy-draining people and situations.
• Surround yourself with supportive and positive individuals (friends, leaders, mentors) who uplift your energy and set a good example.
When I started my leadership journey,
I used to drain all my energy on work.
Now I have clarity with:
→ WHAT my priority is at this moment, day, month, year.
→ WHEN my energy battery needs recharging.
→ WHO fills me with energy, and who drains it.
You go fast when you do more.
You go long when you care more.
Self-care is a priority. Not a luxury.
