How to be gritty like Djokovic?

First, I would say “…by not judging ourselves”.


Sometimes, we just need to:
→    Accept what’s happening
→    And use it as fuel for the next round

But let’s see how to use the G.R.I.T. method to build grit.
Grit matters, right?

1.    G – Grow
So, start by figuring out what you wanna achieve.

This is where you:
→    Set a clear goal
→    And take those first steps toward making it happen

For example, imagine you wanna get better at cooking.
What do you do?

Well, you probably:
→    Decide on a new recipe (healthy, of course)
→    And start cooking.

This is the first step.

2.    R – Rebound
Now, when things don’t go as planned, bounce back.
If you hit a snag or face a setback, don’t let it stop you.
Instead, recover and keep going — like in sports!
Why?
Because rebounding shows your resilience.
It’s all about not letting failures keep you down.
Just move forward!
For example, let’s go back to our healthy recipe.
If your dish turns out badly, don’t get discouraged.
Just learn from what went wrong and keep cooking.

3.    I – Improve
Now, do this:
→    Look at how you’re doing
→    And figure out how to get better
Just make adjustments based on what you’ve learned from your experience.
Why?
Because improving helps you get closer to your goal.
How?
By refining your approach — like in sports!
For example, let’s say your recipe was a disaster.
Well, you might research tips on how to avoid mistakes.
So you can try the recipe again with your new knowledge.
Right?

4.    T – Try again
Now, even if things don’t go perfectly, keep at it.
Keep putting in the effort!
And try to reach your goal, no matter how many times you might fail!
Why?
Because trying again shows your perseverance.
And perseverance is probably one of the most important skills for success.
It’s all about not giving up.
Even when the going gets tough — like in sports!
So, even if your first attempts at cooking fail, keep trying.
Each attempt brings you closer to success.
