1.    So, first off, the assessment is split into these areas of emotional intelligence:
→    Self-awareness
→    Self-regulation
→    Social skills
→    Motivation
→    Empathy

2.    Each area has 4 “statements”.

We just need to:
→    Read them
→    Reflect on them
→    And rate them
How?

By choosing one of these 5 options:
→    Not at all
→    Rarely
→    Sometimes
→    Often
→    Very Often

Let’s see now the statements for each area.

1.  Self-awareness
→    I know what I’m good at and where I need to improve
→    I’m pretty good at recognizing how I feel in the moment
→    I often take time to think about my thoughts and feelings
→    I make sure to ask for feedback to know what I’m doing well and where I can do better

2.  Self-regulation
→    When things get tough, I usually keep my cool
→    I handle stress pretty well and don’t let it get to me too much
→    I can really concentrate on something for a long time without getting distracted
→    I’m good at controlling my emotions, especially when I’m feeling anxious or upset
3.  Social Skills
→    People often say I’m a good listener
→    I’m quick to connect with new people or colleagues
→    I enjoy working with others and organizing group stuff
→    I’m pretty good at dealing with conflicts and negotiations, whether at work or with friends

4.  Motivation
→    I find real meaning and purpose in what I do
→    I’m super driven to achieve my goals, even when things get tough
→    I stay excited and focused on what I’m working on for the long haul
→    I’m good at bouncing back from setbacks and staying determined to succeed

5.  Empathy
→    I’m sensitive to others’ feelings and try to be supportive
→    I can usually understand how others are feeling pretty well
→    I’m good at picking up on others’ emotions and responding appropriately
→    I’m pretty good at understanding others’ perspectives and where they’re coming from

3.    Alright! Now you just need to give them a score.
How?
By associating each answer with its corresponding “value.”

Look at this:
→    Not at all (value: 1)
→    Rarely (value: 2)
→    Sometimes (value: 3)
→    Often (value: 4)
→    Very Often (value: 5)


This way, you can check:
→    Your Emotional Intelligence Score
→    The scores for each area
→    And, most importantly, figure out where you need to improve
