How to overcome rejection?

That’s tough, but here’s the good news:
→    We all face rejection — and we all overcome it.

I got a lot of rejections, too.
So, let’s look at 5 things that happen when we face rejection
And how to deal with them.

1.    As you said, when we’re rejected, we tend to feel “not enough”.
So, if you’re questioning your abilities, don’t worry — it’s totally normal.
The solution?
→    Radical acceptance
What do I mean?
I mean you just need to accept this:
→    There is no correlation between HR’s rejection and your abilities.
Just accept it.

2.    When we’re rejected, we tend to overanalyze what we did wrong.
Here’s my humble advice:
→    Spend a bit of time learning from what happened.
→    Document your lessons
→    And move on
It makes no sense to dwell on what did wrong.
Just try to extrapolate as much as you can from that situation.
If you can get some good feedback, great.
Otherwise, move on.
When you find yourself analyzing what happened, ask yourself:
→    Is this reflection actually helping me learn something, or am I just wasting my time?

3.    The more we’re rejected, the more uncertainty we feel.
So, how can we deal with uncertainty?
Personally, I just accept we live in a world based on uncertainty.
So again, radical acceptance.
We live in a world based on technology.
Which means a world based on innovation.
Which means a world based on change.
Which means a world based on uncertainty.
Uncertainty is the new normal.
We just need to accept it.

4.    Here’s another thing that happens when we’re rejected:
→    We end up feeling more fear about future rejection.
But again,
→    There is no correlation between the 20 rejections we got and the next interview.
Many people give up just 1 meter before reaching their goal.
So keep going — and bring with you the 20 lessons you’ve learned.

5.    When we’re rejected, we lose motivation.
You probably started with a dream in mind, right?
Maybe the dream of finding a job in a foreign country.
Great! So bring that dream with you every day.

It’s normal to see our dream moving away, but remember:
→    The gap between you and your dream hasn’t changed from the 1st interview until now
If anything, it’s the opposite — you’re closer now.
Many times, life is just a numbers game.
