9 Bold Questions to Assess Your Relationship

How can you tell if you’re in a Healthy Relationship?

Here’s a tool for you:
→    The Relationship Assessment

We’re gonna follow 5 steps.

1.    Take your journal
2.    Give a score from 1 to 10 to these nine questions:

1.   From 1 to 10, how balanced do you think decision-making is in your relationship? Is there a collaborative and equal approach, or is dominance an issue?

2.    From 1 to 10, how respected and valued do you feel when it comes to being close, both physically and emotionally, with your partner?

3.    From 1 to 10, how open and honest do you feel in your communication with your partner?

4.    From 1 to 10, how much do you feel your personal space and limits are acknowledged and respected by both you and your partner?

5.    From 1 to 10, how present and supportive do you feel your partner is emotionally, especially during challenging times?

6.    From 1 to 10, how strong do you feel the foundation of trust is in your relationship?

7.    From 1 to 10, how aligned are your life goals and values with your partner’s?

8.    From 1 to 10, how constructive are your conflicts? Do they lead to growth and understanding, or do they turn into battles with blame?

9.    From 1 to 10, how secure do you feel expressing your uniqueness and being authentic in your relationship? Do trust and safety go hand in hand?

3.    Okay, now that you’ve answered these questions, try this:
→    Convince your partner to do the same.
Yeah, you got it right — first you, then your partner.

4.    Now that your partner has answered the questions, do this:
→    Take a look at your answers together and see if you’re on the same wavelength.
It’s a way to get a handle on your “relationship awareness”.

5.    Now take action together to improve where you think you need to improve.
“Uhm, where do we need to start?”
Simple: from the more urgent and important areas for your relationship.

This is how you can know if you’re in a Healthy Relationship  — and improve it.

Now the question is: “Are you willing to invest 1 hour for the wellbeing of you and your partner?
