6 Daily Habits to Boost Your Brain Health

How to boost your brain health?
Here are 6 daily habits you may wanna integrate into your life.
They’re the same habits I follow every day.

1.    Our brain needs mental stimulation, right?
So we need to figure out a way to give it a kind of “gym”.
That gym is called:
→    Reading
→    Doing puzzles
→    Learning new things
For me, right now, my brain’s gym is probably creating these infographics.

2.    Our brain needs food rich in antioxidants, omega-3, and vitamins.
So, let’s try to integrate foods like:
→    Nuts
→    Seeds
→    Fruits
→    Veggies
→    Salmon
Personally, I’m a big fan of walnuts.
I eat almost 200 grams of walnuts a day.

3.    Our brain needs water.
I know it seems obvious, but you can’t imagine how underrated hydration is.
So, make sure to drink throughout the day.
And pay attention to your first hours after waking up.
Our bodies are dehydrated from the night.
So it’s a good idea to drink a couple of glasses of water just after waking up.
Personally, I drink almost 1.2 liters of water in my first hour.

4.    Our brain needs enough sleep.
In my case, I sleep 8 hours a day.
And I don’t like sleeping — but it’s essential for my mental clarity.
If I sleep less than 7 hours, I immediately feel the difference.
So, try to sleep 7-8 hours each night.
And I know some people need just “4 hours”.
Good for them — here I’m telling you what I do 🙂

5.    Our brain needs movement.
Personally, I work out every day not to improve my fitness level.
I’m doing it more for:
→    Keeping my discipline high
→    Boosting my mental strength
So, it’s more for my mind than for my body.

6.    Our brain needs to relax.
Here you can choose activities like:
→    Meditation
→    Deep Breathing
→    Spending time in nature
Personally, my daily habit is meditation.
I meditate for 15 minutes a day as part of my morning routine.
But of course I also love nature.

These 6 daily habits are gonna help you:
→    Stay concentrated
→    Stay mentally sharp throughout the day
→    Boost your brain health
