Are You Spiritually Healthy?

Always take your first opportunity each day to spend time in prayer. For many years I have been encouraging people to set aside 10 minutes a day for quiet prayer. I advise them to put a post-it on their bathroom mirror that reads: “10 minutes a Day!†I wonder just how many actually read it each morning. It’s interesting how seldom we talk about spiritual health. If you think about all the focus we place on physical health, and the billions of dollars we spend trying to achieve it, then consider how little we talk about spiritual health. It says so much about the state of our culture. God blesses you with spiritual vitality. Developing this is similar to building a tower. We all have an inner life. This consists of our thoughts, feelings, hopes dreams, our character of what we do, where we go and things we build on our own. The coming and going of hundreds of prayerful pilgrims would be enough to keep the vandals and thugs away. As you begin to go deeper and deeper into prayer, God will help you to answer 4 questions: 1. Who am I?
